In 2009 there have been two really unique Duroc boars to surface to the top. I have had the privilege to judge both of them. One was the Grand Champion Duroc boar at the World Pork Expo and the other is "God's Gift". He was the Grand Champion Duroc boar at the Iowa State Fair. Huge bodied and packed full of muscle were the first two things that you think about when he walked into his class. I thought it was déjà vu, the same ring sixty day apart. They look like littermates, super thick, huge top, big square rump and sound. I don't mean sound enough, I mean SOUND. Walk all day long kind of soundness.

This is a great one, well we think so. Designed to make hogs super thick, super sound and packed full of muscle. Guess what. No paylean!! This guy could flat sire BIG League show pigs.
